Navigation Youth Ministry

Navigation Youth Ministry

Sunnybrook Navigation Youth Ministry is for pre-teens and teens from middle school to high school age (6-12 grade).  It is a safe place for students to hang out, but also create quality lasting relationships with other young Christians.  It’s not just church, it’s much more than that!  Navigation is designed to provide a fun and safe environment that is centered around Christ.  It’s an opportunity for students to get involved not only in the church but also make an impact in their community while also fostering lasting Christian relationships they will treasure for a lifetime.  Outings like bowling, ice-skating, eating out, lock-ins, hiking, and concerts are just a few examples of other activities our youth enjoys.

Sunnybrook’s Navigation Youth Ministry provides dynamic Christ-centered environments that model biblical principles so that students will:

  • Learn how to follow Christ by diving deeper into who Christ is
  • Ask the hard questions necessary to develop a life centered around faith
  • Build relationships with other students and leaders that enable them to be a positive influence to others and their community
  • Experience personal and spiritual growth as they serve others
  • Develop everyone’s gifts and talents as they lead and expand their influence

Sunnybrook Navigation Youth Ministry provides valuable and consistent groups that give students an opportunity to ask questions about their faith and about God.  Navigation Youth seeks to optimize students time at church, create conversations and relationships about how to live a life of faith in our culture, and provide opportunities for students to utilize their talents and leadership with the purpose of equipping them to be all God designed them to be.

We believe that a big part of students growing and owning their faith is –

  • Leading and serving in different areas of the church (worship, Children’s Ministry, etc)
  • Providing mentors those in the Children’s Ministry
  • Involvement in worship service
  • Creating new relationships outside of student ministry by serving alongside others

30 Even youths grow tired and weary, and young men stumble and fall; 31 but those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint. Isaiah 40:30-31
