28 just as the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many.” Matthew 20:28

Connections

Volunteers on our Connections team are some of the first people our attendees come in contact with at weekend services. They serve our church every week or every other week. They greet people before services to make sure they have all the information they need, help people find seats, help park cars, and get people where they need to be.

Facilities

Volunteers on our Facilities team serve behind the scenes. They take care of the church building and grounds and keep things looking and working great. They help to clean the church building, maintain the church grounds, prep for services and events, and help with landscaping, painting and taking out the trash.  Our volunteers also take on special tasks that need completed in the church such as electrical, plumbing, and more on an as needed basis.  They also help with improvements and things that need updated.

Partner Ministries

We have a number of Sunnybrook Citizens involved in various ministries and organizations near and far. We want to highlight these members and ministries to not only bring awareness to what God is doing and through our church but to also to connect our people to opportunities in which they can live out gospel-centered service, whether that be mentoring a student at a local school, serving in the community, or at one of our Outdoor Camping Ministries.

Transportation Ministry

At Sunnybrook Church, our transportation ministry provides a means of transportation for all who are in need and desire to come to worship at Sunnybrook.  Our volunteers are eager to help by providing a safe and convenient way for seniors, youth, and anyone who would like to attend various church services and functions.

Are We Missing Something?

What is unique about Sunnybrook and our way of doing things is that we will by no means limit your gifts and talents to what ministries, programs, or activities that we currently have.  If you have a passion or talent for something that we do not currently have at Sunnybrook, we would love for you to help us get it started or even head it up if you are interested.   We are not interested in pressuring anyone into anything!  We want you to enjoy what you are doing.  We believe God blessed us each with specific talents and gifts and he wants us to USE THEM FOR HIM!  Therefore, we feel it is extremely important that we allow you to do what God has blessed you to do and for that, we will all be blessed by your abilities!  Take a look around our website and visit us so you can to see what Sunnybrook is all about and the programs we have and offer to our congregation.  If you really enjoy the church but we don’t offer something you feel we should, or something that you are passionate about, please talk with one of the leadership team members so we can discuss getting it started.

If you need more information about the activities, programs, and ministries at Sunnybrook Church, please contact us using the contact information found here on our website or email us at info@sunnybrookbristol.org   and we would be happy to speak with you.
