Wednesday Night Connect

Wednesday Night Connect

What Is It?

Wednesday Night Connect is all about relationships and your church family.  A scripture in Matthew 18:20 says: 20 For where two or three are gathered in my name, there am I among them.” Matthew 18:20 ESV  This scripture really tells what our Wednesday night service is about; reconnect, recharge, and rediscover.   Let us give you an idea of what our service includes on Wednesday nights.  We offer several programs and ministries on Wednesday nights so you may come one week and do one thing, but don’t feel like that the next, NO PROBLEM!, just go to something different.  The highlight of Wednesday nights are the small groups!  This gives people the time during the week to reconnect with their church family and form those personal bonds with other people in the church and those that are not.  There will be several small groups going on at once so don’t feel like you are forced into one particular group, there will be many options for what you can do on a Wednesday night.

What To Expect

Let us give you a run-down of what to expect for Wednesday Night Connect.  First we start off with food and fellowship at 6:00 p.m. which is designed to relieve some of the pressures on you and your family relating to preparing dinner and getting everything ready to come to Wednesday Night Connect.  Not interested in the food?  No problem, this is simply a program offered to help you.  Please do not feel obligated in any way to attend the food portion of our service.  Our awesome praise and worship service starts at 6:30 p.m. and includes contemporary praise music you might hear during our normal Sunday morning services or on mainstream Christian radio.  After our praise and worship time, we will have some quick announcements, and break to our respective ministries and small groups.

The Details

Our small groups are tailored to be just that….SMALL!  You lose the personal touch and the “small group” when you have too many in one particular group.  Therefore, we try have several small groups going on at once.  Expect groups ranging from 6-8 people.  The small group studies usually start around 6:45-7:00 p.m. or so and end around 8:00 pm depending on the group, it’s all up to YOU!  Many times in other churches, these groups take place in the homes of the members, but we like to have everyone at Sunnybrook to keep everyone involved, and in touch.  Even though you may not be in the same group as everyone, you still get the opportunity to see each other and visit on Wednesday Evenings with the rest of your church family.

Youth the Children

Lastly, don’t forget the kids!  We also have youth programs available for them as well that will teach important lessons while at the same time allowing the youth to build lasting Christian bonds with others that are good influences on their lives.  We also have our Children’s Ministry for the little ones so please bring the whole family!  Everyone will have a great time.
